Steel Surfaces

BLASON performs both horizontal and vertical shot/grit blasting on petroleum and water tanks. This process is dust-free and minimizes waste disposal to 5% of standard nozzle blasting. The blast heads can also be disassembled and accessed inside a tank via a 24" manway. Vertical equipment is remote controlled and utlizes a hoist perched on top of the tank. BLASON ultiizes BLASTRAC EBE 500s and 350s for horizontal work and EBE 500Vs and 350Vs for vertical work.

BLASON utilizes BLASTRAC 15-D Super, BLASTRAC 16-65 Ride-on, 10-18 Ride-on, 8-DEC, 8-DEC99, and E-4800 shotblasters to remove light applications of glues and epoxies, and to profile surfaces.

BLASON utilizes a variety of gas 10-inch and 480 volt 13-inch scarifiers for removal of heavier applications and to profile surfaces.

Ride-on Scrapers

BLASON utilizes Rex/OEM ride-on scrapers and BLASTRAC 270 scrapers to remove coverings, elastomerics, toppings and other applications.

Sand/air abrasive blast units

BLASON utilizes Schmidt pressure pots for open nozzle blasting with various media abrasives such as garnet, slag, walnut shells, and co2 pellets.
